project begins for Salina Art Center

Video shooting began last weekend in Salina, KS, for a new project for the Salina Art Center. The piece will be similar to Always Becoming Something (1) which was created in 2006 during a residency at Light Work.

Last weekend my assistant Cory and I videotaped 15 Salina citizens. I’m returning sometime later in the fall to videotape more volunteers.

The final piece is set to be shown at the Salina Art Center January 15, 2009.
