There was a nice crowd and an amazing reception to all of the new work. The exhibition is comprised of eight pieces, five being multi-channel video works and two being multi-channel audio works. The pieces themselves showcase a variety of recent influences on my work such as Krautrock, comics, early experimental film, and recent geo-politics. One, a three-channel vertical LCD piece titled Totem (1) (seen in the image here), seemed to be the most praised and looks to have already sold of a couple of copies of the small edition. Images of all of the works will be posted on this site very soon. The images from the reception are courtesy of friend and colleague Elijah Gowin.

We finished waxing the floors yesterday so it’s now ready to be used.
We used a matte paint from Home Depot instead of the true chroma green and it’s working great (at half the cost). I’m lighting it with fluorescents which are also working great. The glares are mainly due to the fact that the paint is still wet in the photo.
