My audio and video installation <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barryanderson.com\/installations\/ectoplasmic-response-2009\/\"><em>Ectoplasmic Response<\/em><\/a> was shown along with drawings by Bay Area artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.caseyjexsmith.com\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\">Casey Jex Smith<\/a> and an installation of ghostly architectural elements made of vellum by Brooklyn-based artist <a href=\"http:\/\/sonyablesofsky.com\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\">Sonya Blesofsky<\/a>. There was also a short performance by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.4ad.com\" target=\"_blank\">4AD<\/a> artist <a href=\"http:\/\/tune-yards.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">tUnE-YarDs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For anyone visiting the Bay Area, you should check out the up-and-coming art scene in Oakland.
