Finally.

Op Eyes has been placed in the location for which it was created, the projection system on the Regnier Center adjacent to the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art. It was tested last night for the opening reception for the museum's new acquisitions exhibit.

This isn't going to be a permanent public installation, but since the piece is in the museum's permanent collection, hopefully they'll put it up on the screen regularly.

Now that the holidays are over and the Dallas show is behind me, I'm going full force on the commission for the Salina Art Center. titled Always Becoming Something (3). I'm almost done keying out all of the footage and am now testing out the overall evinromental look of the piece (like in the test shot here).

My newest video animation, Lawn Ornaments, opened in the group show Vacant Spaces at Marty Walker Gallery in Dallas last weekend. An excerpt from the piece can now been seen in my portfolio.
