exhibition in Denver
The group exhibition, The Temporary Institute of Emancipated Objects, opened last Thursday at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver. Three of my video animations [Junk Yard, Floating Embers (3), and the new Totem (4) pictured to the left] are included in it. The exhibition was curated by Philip J. Steele Gallery director, Cortney Stell. It received preview write-ups in Westword, Denver’s alternative weekly, as well on as on Denverarts.org.
On the evening of the opening, myself and the three other artists in the exhibition [Brett Day Windham, Whitney Lynn, and Huberto Duque] took part in a panel discussion titled Beg, Borrow, and Steal: Four Contemporary Views on Failure.
